Ok..I may not be your typical College Coed, but I gotta represent...so let me say for the record, Obama is my choice for President. I'm one of those 3.2 million moveon.org members, so call me a liberal, but one look at the Republican GOP convention (camera pans to audience, conservative older folks) and I feel ill, queasy, squeamish, my knees buck and
the sight of Palin's beehive, and she resembles more of a character in an SNL skit. Yes, but she's real, a Creationist, a sciencephobe, pro-life (even in the case of incest and rape) drill drill drill for oil, a non-environmentalist.

The Moose People (Palin)

Mz. Palin and the sight of her family, do represent some of America, but does not speak for me. As short of funds I am, I finally donated to the moveon.org movement to help mobilize the younger folks. So, if you're reading this for a mere $12-- you can get this cool T-Shirt,

Please no more OF THE SAME. Reversing Roe Vrs. Wade, teaching Creationism in schools. Palin even goes so far as  opposing the Bush administration's decision to list Polar Bears as an endangered species. McCain's pick of VP, clearly shows desperation, pandering to the right wing conservatives. He knew he needed to do that in order to win, otherwise he would've chosen his pal Lieberman.

Directed to the right wing conservatives: America does not have a new sweetheart. Though I can understand the glee of a "fresh faced," gun-toting, ex beauty queen. But, back to the matters at hand, Obama and McCain. Obama is more centrist than McCain, he will at least work with the Republicans, McCain can no longer
claim this position with his VP pick.

I'm counting on the younger voters, swing states, and hoping the women who voted for Hilary, listen to her and support Obama. No, I did not vote for Hillary, but Palin is so far and away not in the same category.
And I would have to agrgee with a comment I heard on NPR when a caller said, "If those who voted for Hillary instead of supporting Obama, switch to McCain they are either closet racists or closet Republicans."
I concur.
